Duvid, Ian and Dawne + Dylan Simon, Mark, Leon, Charlie, Harry and Olivia all got together in this little skiing haven in Italy.
Duvid arrived first and this gave Leon, Charlie, Harry and Olivia a chance to get up to speed before the others arrived which they did in some style. It was quite alarming watching them descending a red run after 4 hours of tuition and being asked to do 360o turns. Duvid wisely realised he couldn't keep up with this and stayed in to nurse his cold and throat infection.
Ian led his team onto the slopes on Xmas eve and they were soon back into it. They all ascended the highest lift around the Carosello 3000 goes to 3000m. Ian had to break off after one run down to attend to housekeeping matters. Later he ascended the other side of the valley but his descent involved a fall and a broken collar bone followed by a a rather frustrating trip to the Trauma Clinic.
